Cheryl A. (Hopkins) Gormley

71, of Cranston, passed away at her home surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, February 27, 2019. She was the loving companion of the late Dr. Juanito Abanilla MD. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Alan and Margaret (Flanagan) Hopkins. Cheryl was a retired medical assistant and office manager for Wampanoag Medical clinic for 32 years.

Cheryl is survived by her loving son Dustin Carvalho of Cranston. She was the sister of Joyce Chandronnet and her husband Eugene of Exeter, Cynthia Notarianni of Cranston, Donald Hopkins and his wife Linda of Cranston and the late Arlene Watkins, Sandra Hopkins, Lois Carvalho, Karen Hopkins, Charles Hopkins, Ronald Hopkins, Alan Hopkins and her half brother Johnny Hopkins. Cheryl was the cherished aunt of many nieces and nephews.

Her visiting hours will be held on Monday, March 4th, from 5:00-7:00 p.m. in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston. Her funeral service will take place on Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. in the Nardolillo Funeral Home, Cranston. Burial will take place in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston.
