Charlotte Ann (MacIntyre) Briggs

85, of Providence, passed away on Wednesday, April 21, 2021, at Kent Hospital in Warwick.  She was the beloved wife of the late Lt. William A. Briggs, PFD, Ret.  Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late James I. and Anna R. (Trenn) MacIntyre.  Charlotte was employed by the IRS for 25 years, before retiring.

She is survived by her loving children, Jean Sullivan and her husband David of Hope Valley, Jane Williams of Georgia, Robert Briggs of Johnston, and the late A1C Stephen W. Briggs. Charlotte was the cherished grandmother of 8 and great grandmother of 1.  She was the dear sister of Diane Wilkinson of Maryland, James MacIntyre of Lincoln, RI, and the late Virginia Andrade, Carol Logsdon, Elaine Serowick, Ronald and John MacIntyre.

Her Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday at 10 am in St. Matthews Church, Cranston. Burial will be held in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston.  VISITING HOURS: Monday: 4-7 p.m.
