Charles D. Bailey

95, of Coventry, formerly of Cranston and Columbus, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 14, 2024. He was the beloved husband of the late Mary Carmela (DiTraglia) Bailey. Born in Columbus, Ohio he was the son of the late Oren and Inez (Shrigley) Bailey.

Charles was a US Navy Veteran serving during the Korean War. After his military service he worked as a heavy equipment mechanic for many years before retiring. His passions included woodworking and puzzle making. Charles was very creative and enjoyed making various things out of rolls and rolls of duct and masking tape. 

Charles is survived by many loving nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews. 

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday, September 17, 2024 at 10:00 am in St. Mary’s Church, Cranston. Burial with military honors will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
