CHAE S. HONG

91, of East Chester, NY died Saturday, July 25, 2009 at the Nassau University Medical Center, East Meadow, NY. He was the husband of Pok Ye (Hwang) Hong. They were married for sixty-seven years. Born in Sang Ju, Korea, he was a son of the late Oh Sun and So Dan (Oh) Hong. Mr. Hong was a self employed restaurant owner for over twenty years. Besides his wife he is survived by his children, Eunsuk Hong of Asley, NY, Wonsup Hong of East Chester, NY, Kilsup Hong of Whitestone, NY and Jin Hong of Cranston, owner of the Tae Kwon Do Center in North Kingstown. Mr. Hong was the grandfather of nine and the great-grandfather of two great-granddaughters. He was the brother of the late Chaesung Hong. His funeral service will be held on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston.
