of Cranston, passed away on Tuesday, March 1, 2022. She was the beloved wife of the late Giovanni Aceto. Born in Esperia, Frosinone, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Luigi and Maria (Aceto) DeAngelis.
Celeste was the devoted mother of Luca Aceto, Luigi Aceto and his wife Susan and the late Anna Paliotta and her husband Bruno, all of Cranston; cherished grandmother of Giuseppe Paliotta, John Paliotta and his wife Gina, Luca Aceto, Lorenzo-Eric Aceto, Adriana Aceto and Antonio Aceto; and the great-grandmother of Giovanni Paliotta. Celeste was preceded in death by her dear siblings Anita Aceto, Elvira Aceto and Giuseppe DeAngelis.
Celeste was a loving, caring, and kind woman. Her joys were found in the countless hours she spent cooking in the kitchen and spending time with her beloved family. There was room for everyone at Celeste’s table, and she had the gift of making everyone she met feel like family. She will be greatly missed.
Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Saturday, March 5th at 9 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Immaculate Conception Church, 237 Garden Hills Dr., Cranston at 10 a.m. Entombment will be in the Garden Mausoleum at St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS are Friday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
