Catherine M. (Houston) DeLuca

Catherine M. (Houston) DeLuca 81, of Johnston passed away Thursday January 16, 2025 at So. County Hospital. She was the beloved wife of the late Richard F. DeLuca, Sr.

Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late William and Catherine (Mulhern) Houston. Catherine worked for RI Blood Center for many years before retiring.

She was the devoted mother of Richard F. DeLuca, Jr., Maria DeLuca-Vaccaro and her husband Paul, William DeLuca and his wife Marcela and the late Karyn DeLuca; loving grandmother of Melissa, Deanna, William Jr. and Richard III; loving great-grandmother of Eva and Mila. She was also survived by her companion Maxwell Smart. Catherine was the dear sister of the late William and George Houston.

Her funeral will be held on Tuesday January 21, 2025 at 12 noon from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory 1278 Park Ave. Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary’s Church 1525 Cranston St. Cranston at 1 pm. Burial will be private.

Visiting hours are Tuesday Morning January 21, 2025 from 10:30 am to 12 noon.
