CATHERINE "KATE" AEPPLI (COLLIGAN)
CATHERINE "KATE" (COLLIGAN) AEPPLI, 82, of Scituate Vista Dr., Cranston, passed away Monday, April 21, 2008. She was the wife of the late Edward J. Aeppli.
Born in Brooklyn, NY, a daughter of the late Francis and Jane (McCullough) Colligan, she resided in Maspeth and Richmond Hill, Queens, NY for many years.
She was an administrative assistant at Travelers Insurance Company in NY before retiring, and was a communicant of St. Mary's Church, Cranston. Kate will always be remembered for her laughter, energy, and love of life. She was a fighter until the end.
She was the beloved mother of Edward J. Aeppli, Jr., Regina Kustowski, and Catherine Langella; loving grandmother of Michael, Nicholas, Daniel and Ryan Langella; and sister of Walter T. Colligan, Esq., Jane Doyle and the late Francis Colligan. She is also survived by many loving cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial Thursday at 10:00 a.m. in St. Mary's Church, Cranston St., Cranston and may call at the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Wednesday 5-8 p.m.
A Graveside Service will be held Friday at 11:00 a.m. at St. John's Cemetery, Middle Village, NY.
