CATHERINE (MARANDOLA) CIMINO

83, of Cranston, passed away on Thursday, June 24, 2010 at West View Health Care Center, West Warwick after a long illness. She was the wife of the late Frank W. Cimino. Born in Johnston, she was a daughter of the late Domenico and Catarina (D'Acchioli) Marandola. She was employed at Bostitch in East Greenwich for twenty-eight years before retiring in 1992. Catherine leaves her beloved twin sister Anna Jacavone and her husband John of Providence. Anna, John and Catherine's cherished niece Dorothy DiLullo cared for her during her illness. She also leaves sisters, Annie DiRaimo of Johnston, Filomena Iannelli and Lena DelGiudice of Cranston, brothers Vincent Marandola and wife Grace of West Hartford, CT, George Marandola and wife Margaret of N. Scituate. She was the sister of the late Marie DiRaimo, Joseph, Thomas and Pasco Marandola. Catherine was the aunt of many nieces and nephews. Her funeral will be held on Monday at 9:00 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in St. Rocco's Church, Atwood Avenue, Johnston. Burial will be in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS: Sunday 5-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Rocco's Church, 927 Atwood Avenue, Johnston, RI 02919.
