CATHERINE P. (GALLO) CABRAL

68, of Hoffman Ave., Cranston, a beloved mother and devoted wife, passed away Friday, February 24, 2012 at Tidewell Hospice in Sarasota, FL. She was the wife for 50 years of Arthur C. "Artie" Cabral. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Rachel (Amantea) Gallo. For 14 years Catherine was a dedicated member of staff in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Providence. In 2008, she retired to spend more time with family and friends after seven years at St. Robert Bellarmine Church in Johnston. Besides her husband, she was a dearly loved and adored mother of Anthony J. Cabral of Nairobi, Kenya and James A. Cabral of Los Angeles; treasured sister of her twin Rachel Sylvestri and sibling to Francesco Gallo both of Cranston. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, March 2nd at 11a.m. in St. Timothy's Church, 1799 Warwick Ave., Warwick, followed by interment at St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
