Catherine A. (Lawton) Brindle-Ricci

92, of Johnston, passed away on Tuesday, September 27, 2022, at RI Hospital, Providence. She was the beloved wife of John Ricci and the late Ronald Brindle. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Charles Lawton Sr., and Catherine (Farley) Lawton. Catherine was a bookkeeper for George Nathan & Associates for 25 years and was a clerk in the tax collection office for Johnston Town Hall for 10 years before retiring.

Besides her husband John, she is survived by her loving children, William Reichert and his wife Donna of Glocester, Daniel Reichert and his wife Anne of Glocester, and Ann Reichert of Virginia. She was the cherished grandmother of 8 and great grandmother of 11. Catherine was the sister of the late Charles Lawton Jr., and Ann Reichert.

Her funeral will be held on Thursday, Oct. 6th, at 9:00 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston, followed by her Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in St. Rocco’s Church, Johnston. Burial will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
