Catherine A. (Rachiele) Antonetti

89, a lifelong resident of Federal Hill, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 19, 2019 at Elmhurst Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Providence. She was the beloved wife of the late Frank N. Antonetti. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Angelo and Angelina (Militerno) Rachiele. Catherine was employed by the State of RI, John Donley Rehabilitation Center for twenty-eight years before her retirement.

She is survived by her loving daughters Annmarie Read and her husband Jeffrey of Foxboro, MA, Laurie A. Goff and her husband Robert of Bristol, and Roseann Antonetti of Providence. Catherine was the mother of the late Annmarie Antonetti. She was the cherished grandmother of Dacia Read and her husband John Willumsen, Jonathan Read and his wife Aria, Brendan and Cassidy Goff, and the great-grandmother of Saylor Read and Grace Willumsen. Catherine was the sister of Marie Salvati of Cranston, Elena Mancini and Lucy Swinson, both of N. Providence, and the late Joseph, Ralph, Salvatore, and Samuel Rachiele, Joseph and James Mascaro, Concetta Procaccini, Teresa Palotta, Susan Scungio, and Rose Costantino. She is also survived by her dog “Keke”.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, September 30, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. in Holy Ghost Church, 472 Atwells Avenue, Providence. Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket. VISITING HOURS are respectfully omitted.
