CAROLYN E. (LEIGHTON) ROY

69, of Providence, passed away Saturday April 16, 2011 at Miriam Hospital, Providence. She was the beloved wife of Raymond Roy Sr. Carolyn was born in Pawtucket, the daughter of the late Robert and Edna (Jarvis) Leighton. Carolyn was a cashier for Shaw's Market until her retirement. She is survived by her loving children, Raymond Roy Jr. of Hope, Debra L. Nichols of Warwick, Michelle Olveira of Providence, her siblings, Nancy Dupree and Thelma Peltier both of Pawtucket. She was also a cherished grandmother and sister of the late Sally LaBree. Her funeral will be held on Thursday at 9 am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory 1278 Park Ave., Cranston followed by a Funeral Liturgy Outside of Mass at 10 am in St. Patrick's Church, 244 Smith St., Providence. Burial will take place in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston. VISITING HOURS: Wednesday 4-8 pm.
