85, died peacefully, with her beloved husband of 64 years, Benjamin Carbone and her family by her side. Born in Providence, RI, a daughter of the late James Cavallaro and Florence (Voccio) Cavallaro she was a life-long resident of Providence. Carol is survived by her son, Steven B. Carbone of Scituate, RI, daughter Sharon (Nichols) Souza, and son-in-law David Souza of Cranston, RI. She was a loving grandmother to Stephanie Nichols, Stacey Nichols, Kerri Carbone, and Joseph Carbone and his wife Annalisa . She was a great-grandmother to Ashley, Andrew, Philip Joseph and expected great-grandchild. She was a wonderful sister to Charles Cavallaro, his wife Ethel of Johnston, James Cavallaro, his wife Janet, and sister-in-law Dotty Carbone as well as her late sisters Ida Marzilli and Rose Wood . She leaves many nieces, nephews, friends, and loved ones, including Bob Almeida. She was a member of the United Commercial Travelers and Y.P.S.C. Carol's legacy is of love and friendship.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Home Service on Monday at 11:00 a.m. in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston. Burial will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS: Sunday 4:00-8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Special Olympics Rhode Island 370 George Washington Highway Smithfield, RI, 02917, one of her cherished causes.
