Carol A. (Burns) Norato

75, of West Palm Beach Florida (formerly of Cranston) passed away on Friday May 30, 2014. She was the beloved wife of 56 years to Albert E. "Sonny " Norato.
Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Joseph L. and Frances (Rogers) Burns. Carol was the owner of Smith's Resturant of Providence with her husband Sonny for many years until retirement.
Besides her husband she was the devoted mother of Albert E. Norato, Jr., Joseph L. Norato and his wife Ann, Marianne Candito and her husband Steven and Stephen M. Norato, loving grandmother of six; and dear sister of Barbara Wagner and Kathleen Traynor.
Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave. Cranston, on Wednesday at 8:45 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Rocco's Church, 927 Atwood Ave. Johnston at 10 a.m. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery in Cranston. Visiting hours are Tuesday from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.
