Carmino DeRobbio 88, of Rutland Street, Cranston died, Tuesday, April 29, 2008 at home. He was the husband of Angelina V. (Maddelena) DeRobbio. They were married for sixty-six years. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Angelo and Josephine (Box) DeRobbio. Mr. DeRobbio was a foreman for the former Atlas Chain Company of Providence for forty years before retiring in 1984. He was also employed part time as a waiter at the Alpine Country Club in the 1960's and 70's. Besides his wife he is survived by his children, Gina A. Schiano and her husband Kenneth of Cranston and Richard T. DeRobbio. Mr. DeRobbio was the grandfather of Ashley E. and Brandon T. Schiano and Aaron and Seth DeRobbio. He was the brother of Angelo DeRobbio of Cranston, Lucy Coppolino, Josie Rotondo and Dolores Iasimone all of Providence and the late Rosie DiChiaro, Anna Picozzi, Mary Supino and Viola Zannelli. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. in St. Ann's Church, 1493 Cranston Street, Cranston and may call at the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Friday 5-8 p.m. Burial will be in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston.
