CARMINE TAMMELLEO, 64, of Charlotte, NC, passed away Thursday, December 20, 2007 at Presbyterian Hospital in Charlotte.
Born in Providence, the beloved son of the late Joseph and Louise (Caldarone) Tammelleo, he lived in Warwick before moving to Florida in 2003 and to Charlotte in 2005.
Carmine was the owner of the former J&L Pizza on Park Ave., Cranston for 10 years retiring in 1982. After retiring, he continued his passion making everyone happy with his cooking.
He was the devoted father and best friend to Gina L. Amalfitano of Charlotte, NC and Stephen C. Tammelleo and his wife Kirsten of Indian Trail, NC; loving grandfather of Zachary S. Tammelleo; and dear brother of John C. Tammelleo of Warwick and the late Frank and Joseph Tammelleo.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service Friday at 10 a.m. in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston, followed by interment in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
