Carmine Cece

Carmine Orazio Cece, loving husband, father, and grandfather, passed away peacefully, June 9, 2023, surrounded by his adoring family. Restaurateur for over 50 years; Carmine’s Sub Shop; Contractor of beautiful homes in Western Cranston, R.I., as well as an entrepreneur. Born and raised in Castelnuovo Parano, Pr. A man that came to this country at the age at 16 after enduring WWII in Italy: committed to making the American Dream his reality, through a strong work ethic. He was one of the original Food Truck Vendors in the State of Rhode Island. Going to Brown University and Providence College, feeding the students after their basketball games. Many times, Providence Journal came calling to do an expose on him, he always respectfully declined. He was an opera enthusiast truly appreciating Enrico Caruso, Mario Lanza, Lucciano Pavarotti, and Andrea Bocelli. Carmine was an aficionado of the accordion, delighting family and friends.
