CARMEN M. (DE SISTO) PISTOCCO

86, of Seaport Dr., Narragansett and formerly of Clove St., Providence, passed away on Thursday, June 28, 2012 at South County Hospital in Wakefield surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife for 66 years of Peter Pistocco, Jr. Born in Newton, MA, she was the daughter of the late Antonio and Amelia (Pascale) DeSisto. Mrs. Pistocco was a secretary for many years before retiring. Besides her husband, she was the cherished mother of Cynthia Pistocco Booth and her late husband Robert of Narragansett; loving grandmother of Denise Begos and the late Robert Booth; and loving great-grandmother of Stephanie and Robert Booth and Holly and James Poy. She is also survived by her godchild Lou Ann DiMuccio Darwich; and her loving friend Joan Swiencki. Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME - SOUTH COUNTY CHAPEL, 1111 Boston Neck Rd. (Rt. 1A), Narragansett on Tuesday at 8:45 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary, Star of the Sea Church, 864 Point Judith Rd., Narragansett at 10 a.m. Interment will be at RI Veterans Cemetery in Exeter.
