Carmelo Licciardi

85, Of Cranston, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, August 30, 2020. He was the beloved husband of Angela (Orlando) Licciardi. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Tindaro and Rosa (Guiffre) Licciardi. Carmelo worked as a self-employed carpenter for many years. He then went on to work at RI Hospital as a carpenter before retiring.

Besides his wife Angela, he is survived by his loving children, Josephine DiBiasio and her husband Daniel, Sr. of Cranston, Rosemary Georgio and her husband Alfred of Rotonda West, FL, Patricia Freitas and her husband Afonso of Cranston, and Theresa Lucena and her husband Michael of Cumberland; cherished grandchildren, Alexander Freitas, Andrew Freitas, Daniel DiBisasio, Jr., Anthony DiBiasio, Thomas Lucena, Brianna Lucena; step grandchildren, Alfred Georgio, III and Allisa Georgio.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, September 4th at 10:00 am in Immaculate Conception Church, Cranston. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Memorial Giving, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
