CARMELLA (LONARDO) DE MARCO

93, formerly of Cranston and Providence, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 28, 2013 at Riverview Healthcare Community, Coventry. She was the beloved wife of the late Americo DeMarco. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Emilio "Leo" and Immacolata "Margaret" Lonardo. Carmella was a secretary for Trifari Jewelry Company for many years before her retirement.

She is survived by her loving daughters, Maria Carnevale and her husband Anthony, and Marguerite Pascale and her husband Jimmy, all of Cranston. Carmella was the cherished grandmother of five and the great-grandmother of five. She was the sister of Marguerite Carrera of Florida and the late, Dr. Lorenzo, Thomas and Ralph Lonardo.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. in St. Joseph Church, West Warwick. Interment will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS are respectfully omitted. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph Church, 854 Providence Street, West Warwick, RI 02893-1191.
