CARMELA "MEL" "NANA" (CERALDI) SEBASTIANELLI

Carmela "Mel" "Nana" (Ceraldi) Sebastianelli 87, of Woodmont Drive, Cranston, passed away on Friday, September 19, 2008. Carmela was the wife of the late Anthony "Tony" Sebastianelli. They were married for sixty years. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Luigi and Elizabeth Ceraldi. She also was the loving mother of Doug and his wife Pauline of Raleigh, NC, Cheryl Soulliere and her husband Jon of Orange County, CA. She was an adoring grandmother to Melissa and her husband Curt, Jeffrey and his wife Heather, all of Raleigh, NC, also to Anthony and Nicole Soulliere of Orange County, CA. She is survived by her sister Marie Camardo and was the sister to the late Peter, Joseph, Vincent, and Domenic Ceraldi, Jennie Simone, Sue Pistorio and Nan Paglia. Mel retired from Filene's after a twenty year career. She enjoyed traveling, cooking for her family and friends and loved participating in family activities. Her funeral will be held on Monday at 9:00 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Immaculate Conception Church, Oaklawn Avenue, Cranston at 10:00 a.m. VISITING HOURS Sunday 5-9 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, 931 Jefferson Blvd., Suite 3004, Warwick, RI 02886. Burial will be private.
