Carmela M. (DeMarco) Ranone

92, of Lincoln, formerly of Cumberland and Johnston, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 29, 2014 at the Holiday Retirement Home, Lincoln. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph Ranone. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Maria (Aurelio) DeMarco. Carmela was a clerk typist in the Dept. of Administration for the State of RI. She was an avid lover of animals. She is survived by her loving son, Joseph F. Ranone and his wife Karen of North Scituate. Carmela was the cherished grandmother of Joseph J. Ranone and his wife Christine of Cranston, and the Great-grandmother of Jackelyn H. Ranone and Thomas J. Ranone. She was the sister of the late Frank and Domenic DeMarco. Her funeral service will be held on Monday at 10:00 a.m. in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston.
