CARL P. CASTELLI
Carl P. "Carmine" Castelli, 82, of Maple Avenue, Johnston, died Friday, September 14, 2007 at Morgan Health Center in Johnston. He was the beloved husband for 32 years of Gloria V. (Ciano) Castelli.
Born in Johnston, a son of the late Nicola and Theresa (Cardillo) Castelli, he was a lifelong Johnston resident.
Mr. Castelli was the co-owner of P&J Auto Sales & Service in Providence for the past 50 years, and was an antique car enthusiast.
He was a WW-II Army Veteran.
Besides his wife, he was the devoted father of Bernadette J. Fish and her husband Murray of Andover, MA, and the late Dr. Michael P. Shepley; loving grandfather of Laura, Stephanie and Meredith Fish; and dear brother of the late Mary Healey, Ann Gesualdi and Philip, Joseph and Frank Castelli.
Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Tuesday at 9:00 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Brigid's Church, 1231 Plainfield St., Johnston at 10:00 a.m.
Burial with Military Honors will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
VISITING HOURS MONDAY 5-8 p.m.
