Calvin C. Smith

Calvin C. Smith 89, of Cranston passed away on Saturday October 19, 2024 at RI Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Joyce (Vaznian) Smith. Born in North Smithfiled he was the son of the late Martin and Gertrude (Oswald) Smith.

Calvin graduated from Burriville High School and joined the US Navy as a Radar Specialist. He was a self-employed salesman for many years before retiring.

Besides his wife he was the devoted father of Karla Drainville, Jennifer DiSegna and Steven Smith, and loving grandfather of Daniel, Julianna, Ashley, Kayla, Alexia and Niko. He was the dear brother of the late Maye, Emmaline, Marian and Martin. He was a loving husband and father who loved photography.

His funeral arrangements were private.
