CACILIA (PONKIV) TARAKSIAN

87, of Garden Hills Dr., Cranston, passed away on Friday, July 19, 2013 at Philip Hulitar Hospice Inpatient Center in Providence. She was the beloved wife of the late Rupen Taraksian. Born in Poland, a daughter of the late Walter and Helen Ponkiv, she came to the U.S. in 1950 settling in Providence, moving to Cranston in 1964. She was the devoted mother of Marie Bouchard and her husband Frank and Hagop "Jake" Taraksian and his wife Christine of Cranston and Rupen "Michael" Taraksian of Pawtucket; loving grandmother of Mark Bouchard, Michelle Bouchard, Michael Taraksian and Melissa Zarone; and loving great-grandmother of Nichole Dodge, Brandon Bouchard, Dylan Javery, Madisson Zarone, Dylan Zarone and Nathan Zarone. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service on Wednesday, July 24th at 11 a.m. in Sts. Vartanantz Armenian Apostolic Church, Providence, followed by interment at Swan Point Cemetery, Providence.
