BRIGIDA (DiLoreto) PALOMBO

97, of Selma Street, Cranston, passed away on Monday, November 15, 2010 at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital in North Providence. She was the beloved wife of the late Pietro Palombo. Born in Casino, Italy, Brigida was the daughter of the late Crescenzo and Angela (Palumbo) DiLoreto. She is survived by her four children Maria Lapati and her husband Domenico of Cranston, Guerina Evangelista and her husband Benito of Casino, Italy, Domenica "Ida" DeLuca and her husband Elio of Cranston, Grace Izzo and her husband Richard of Johnston. Mrs. Palombo was the grandmother of six grandchildren and great grandmother of seven children. Brigida was the sister of Antonio DiLoreto of Italy and the late Modesto, Gaetano and Marino DiLoreto. Her funeral will be held from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary's Church, Cranston at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be held in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS: Friday 4:00- 7:00 p.m.
