98, formerly of Cranston passed away Wednesday October 20, 2021 at Cherry Hill Manor, Johnston.

A lifelong resident of Cranston she was the daughter of the late Luigi and Filomena (Testa) Riccio.

She was employed as an Administrator/Secretary for the RI U.S. Attorney’s Office for many years until retiring and previously was employed in the same capacity for the U.S. Navy Dept. and the RI Veteran’s Administration.

She was a lifetime parishioner of St. Rocco’s Church and was very active there for many years and was also a member of its Women’s Guild.

Brigid was the sister of Joseph A. Riccio of TX and the late Ralph D. Riccio and Victoria C. Biernacki; aunt of Ralph L. Riccio, Sandra Fabrizio, Jane DeLisi, Judith Bianco, Rachael Sullivan and Karl Biernacki. She is also survived by several great and great-great nieces and nephews.

Her funeral will be held on Monday at 10am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, SOUTH COUNTY CHAPEL, 1111 Boston Neck Rd. Narragansett followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Rocco’s Church, Johnston at 11am.  VISITING HOURS will be Monday morning from 9:30am to 10:00am.  Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Rocco’s Church 927 Atwood Ave., Johnston, RI 02919.
