BRIDGET (PALAZZO) MENNA

age 81 of Wakefield, passed away unexpectedly on April 5. She was born in 1931 in Providence to the late Angelo and Augusta (Soscia) Palazzo. A longtime resident of Cranston, Bridget moved to Wakefield with her beloved late husband, John B. Menna, to retire near the beach.

She was an exceedingly generous person, sharing her love and time to her entire family and numerous dear friends. Her youthful spirit, kindness and giving nature made her a 2nd mom to many.

Bridget leaves three beloved children, John R. Menna (Ellen Petrarca) of Cranston, Donna Menna (Kenneth Bartolino) of Dedham, and Tammy Starck of Warwick.

She is also survived by her adoring grandchildren Malissa, Michael and Mira, and great-grandson, Owen, and many loving nieces, nephews, in-laws, extended family and friends.

Her five siblings predeceased her: Henry, Fiore (aka "Cagney"), Joseph and Angelo Palazzo, and Rose Gama.

Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Friday at 9 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary's Church, 1525 Cranston St., Cranston at 10 a.m. Interment will be at St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS are Thursday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
