BIAGIO JOHN TRAFICANTE

87, of St. Mary Drive Cranston, passed away on Saturday June 4, 2011 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Anna (Bova) Traficante. Born in West Warwick, he was the son of the late Giuseppe and Sarah (Oddo) Traficante. Mr. Traficante was a WW-II US Army veteran and a recipient of a purple heart. He was a carpenter at Quonset Point for over 31 years, and was a member of the West Warwick Country Club for over 50 years and the Pasco Senerchia Legion Post of West Warwick.

Besides his wife he was the beloved father of Barbara Kelley of Smithfield, Jo-Ann Evans of Cranston, Joseph Traficante of Cranston and James Traficante of North Scituate. He was the loving grandfather of six and loving great-grandfather of 9 and dear brother of Lucy Jusczyk and the late Lillian Biondo and Louis Traficante.

Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory 1278 Park Ave. Cranston, on Wednesday at 9 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary's Church 1525 Cranston St. Cranston at 10 a.m. Burial with Military Honors will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS Tuesday 4-8 p.m.
