77, of Greenville, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Monday, January 3, 2022. She was the beloved wife of Domenic A. Votta for 52 years. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Lydia (Capobianco) DeAngelis.
Besides her husband, she is survived by her loving daughter Lynne DeNoncour and her husband Stephen of Richmond; cherished grandchildren Sydney and Drew; dear brother Charles J. DeAngelis, M.D. of Warwick; sisters-in-law Linda DeAngelis, Anna Brown, and brother-in-law Ralph Votta. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews that she loved dearly.
Beverly was a 24-year Breast Cancer survivor, working closely with the Gloria Gemma Foundation for many years. She was a longtime parishioner of St. Philip’s Church in Greenville where she was a First Communion teacher, CCD teacher, eucharistic minister, member of the choir, and taught SPRED as part of the church which helped children with developmental disabilities. She was such a giving person helping anyone that she could and praying for all those who needed it on an everyday basis. Beverly was also a member of the North Providence and Johnston Senior Center’s and was a performer for the North Providence Dance Follies. She also loved to do Zoomba, was excellent at knitting and needle point, and was a member of the garden club.
Her funeral will be held on Saturday, January 8th at 8:15 a.m. from the Nardolillo Funeral Home & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston followed by her Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. in St. Philip’s Church, Greenville. Burial will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS are Friday from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m.
