BEVERLY C. (CHURCH) NICKSON

Beverly C. (Church) Nickson 69, of Pinewood Drive, West Warwick, died Wednesday, February 6, 2008 at the Elmhurst Extended Care Facility, Providence. Born in Providence; She was a daughter of the late Edgar and Alice (Lundstrom) Church. Mrs. Nickson was a cashier in the Tax Collectors Office for the City of Cranston for sixteen years. She enjoyed traveling with her sister. Beverly will be sadly missed by her colleagues and friends at Cranston City Hall who remained supportive during her illness. She is survived by her children; Gail A. Dittes and her husband Terry of Levittown, PA, John Nickson Jr. and his fiancAC.e Ann of Cranston, Michael W. Nickson of Warwick, David J. Nickson and his wife Alcina of Seekonk, MA and James H. Nickson of West Warwick. Mrs. Nickson was the grandmother of Melissa, Amy, Ryan, Kevin, Matthew and Teresa Dittes, Tammy Townsend and her husband Drew, Rebecca, Michael, Kelsey and Jennifer Nickson. And the great-grandmother of Colton and Landon Townsend. Mrs. Nickson was the sister of Marilyn Coogan of Johnston. She is also survived by her favorite niece Pat Levesque of Johnston.
