97 of Johnston, RI passed away peacefully in her sleep on February 16, 2024, at West View Nursing Home.

She was born on September 29, 1926, in Portland, Maine. Daughter of Giuseppe and Vincenza Romagno.

She worked at Fairchild Semiconductor in Maine, Gulton Industries of East Greenwich and retired from Federal Products of Cranston. Her last job was at Auntie Anne's Pretzels of Warwick.

Bertha loved ballroom dancing, shopping, playing games on her iPad, bingo, traveling to Hawaii and cooking for her family and friends. She was loved by everyone she met.

She was predeceased by her mother and father, brothers Salvatore and Frank, sisters Philomenia, Josephine, Mary and her twin Irene, daughter's Jean, Carol, Linda and grandsons Wayne and Michael.

She is survived by her sons Michael Gay and his wife Chloe of Texas, Dennis Power and his wife Joanna of Cranston, daughters Maureen Mcintyre and her husband Ken of Maine, Denise Andre and her husband Alan of Coventry, 14 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

VISITING HOURS will be held on Thursday, February 22nd from 10:30 – 12:00 p.m. followed by a Funeral Service at 12:00 p.m. in the Nardolillo Funeral Home & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston.  Burial will be private.
