BERNARDO "BENNY" PISTOCCO

79, of Needham Street, Johnston, passed away on Monday, December 14, 2009 at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital in North Providence. He was born in Cranston a son of the late Sabatino "Sam" and Maria "Mary" (DiLullo) Pistocco and resided most of life in Johnston. Mr. Pistocco was a machinist employed at Thurston Manufacturing Company, Smithfield for more than fifteen years until his retirement. He was an Army Veteran of the Korean War and enjoyed spending time at Twin River Casino. He was the brother of the late Ernest Pistocco and nephew of Susie Baldini of Johnston and Gemma Atkinsson of Inverness, FL. Benny was also survived by many cousins. His funeral will be held on Wednesday at 9:00am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Holy Cross Church, Hartford Ave., Providence at 10:00am. VISITING HOURS on Tuesday 6-8pm. Burial will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
