87, of Wayland Ave. Cranston passed away on Saturday July 10, 2010 at Cedar Crest Nursing Centre, Cranston. He was the beloved husband of the late Ida (Turchetta) DelBonis. Bernard was born in Providence, the son of the late Joseph and Mary "Mamie" (Pilosa) DelBonis. Mr. DelBonis was employed in the sales industry for many years. Bernard was employed at Hamel Dahl, Symphonic, Hartford Steam Boiler, the City of Cranston, and sold lobsters at T.F. Green Airport. Bernard was a boat enthusiast, and loved to dig for quahogs, and was also a talented artist and sculptor. Mr. DelBonis was also a WW II Army veteran, and is survived by several cousins. His funeral will be held on Wednesday at 9 am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME 1278 Park Ave. Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in St. Mary's Church, Cranston St. Cranston. Burial with military honors will take place in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS: Tuesday 4-8 pm.
