BENNIE PARISI, 90, of Plainfield Pike, Cranston, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 17, 2009 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband for 63 years of Eleanor (Degidio) Parisi.
Mr. Parisi was a mechanic and worked for the Sate of RI Department of Transportation for many years retiring in 1983. He was a sergeant in the U.S. Army Air Forces during WW-II, and was a member of Kelley & Gazzero Post 2812 in Cranston.
Besides his wife, he was the devoted and loving father of Barbara A. Ricci of Johnston; loving grandfather of John G. Ricci, Jr. of North Hollywood, CA; and dear brother of Amalia Corrente of CA and the late Mary DiFonzo, Vincenza Cambio, Rosina Agnoli, and Joseph and Anthony Parisi.
His funeral will be held Tuesday at 9:00 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Rocco's Church, Atwood Ave., Johnston at 10:00 a.m.
Burial with Military Honors will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
