75 of Warwick passed away on October 19, 2012 at home surrounded by his loving family. Son of the late Berardino and Filomena (DiGiovanni) DiMascia, beloved brother of Josephine Ginolfi, M. Rose Senerchia, Antonetta McQueeney, and Maria Colaiacomo. Loving uncle of John and Deborah Ginolfi, David Senerchia, Robert McQueeney, Patricia (McQueeney) and Kenneth Gatta, Aquino and Carl Colaiacomo; great uncle of Christina, John, and Joseph Ginolfi, Angela and Maria Senerchia, Kyle and Kelsey McQueeney; great, great uncle of Ryan Benjamin Ginolfi-LaNinfa; and sitter for Busta. A retired city of Warwick employee in the tax Collector's office. He was a member of the Warwick Retirement Association, The East Natick Village Association, The East Natick Veterans Association and the West Warwick Country Club. An active communicant of the Sacred Heart Church in West Warwick, chairman of the church bazaar, collector at weekly mass, member of the Social Justice Committee and tireless church volunteer. An avid golfer and sports fan of the Yankees, Giants, Rangers and PC Friars. He loved gardening, cooking and baking with his family.
Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Tuesday at 8:45 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in Sacred Heart Church, 820 Providence Street, West Warwick. Interment will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS are Monday from 4-7 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Sacred Heart Church or Home and Hospice Care of R.I., 1085 North Main Street, Providence, R.I. 02904.
