BENEDETTO 'BEN' ROSSI

BENEDETTO "BEN" ROSSI , 81, of Sterling Ave., Providence, passed away Monday, December 21, 2009 at RI Hospital in Providence. He was the beloved husband of the late Silvia (Troccoli) Rossi. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Giovanni and Luigia (Cardinale) Rossi. Ben was the owner of the former Rossi Sheet Metal, Inc. and Eastern Engineering Co., both in Johnston for many years before retiring. He was a Sergeant in the U.S. Army and was a veteran of both WW-II and Korea. He was the devoted father of JoAnn Lemieux and her husband Paul and John Rossi, all of Providence; loving grandfather of Paul R. Lemieux, II of Providence; and dear brother of Adelaide "Lolly" Masiello of Johnston and Nicholas Rossi of Cranston.. Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Monday at 8:00 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Bartholomew's Church, 305 Laurel Hill Ave., Providence at 9:00 a.m. Interment with Military Honors will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
