Bedros Peter Bedrosian

91, of North Providence, passed away on Saturday, March 8, 2014 at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital in North Providence. He was the beloved husband for 62 years of Berchui (Apajian) Bedrosian. Born in Providence, the son of the late Aristokes and Anna (Bozigian) Bedrosian, he resided in North Providence since 1927.

Mr. Bedrosian was a mail handler for the U.S. Postal Service at the Turnkey in Providence for 28 years before retiring in 1989. He served in the U.S. Army Reserves during WW-II; was a member of the Salvatore Mancini Resource & Activity Center in North Providence; was an elected member of the North Providence Hall of Fame; and was a past president and coach of North Providence Little League and Babe Ruth League for over 30 years.

Besides his wife, he was the devoted father of Peter Bedrosian and his wife Janet of North Providence, Allan S. Bedrosian and his wife Roseann of Cranston, Edward A. Bedrosian and his wife Kathleen of Johnston and the late Hagop "Jackie" Bedrosian; loving grandfather of Alycia, Michael and Holly; and dear brother of the late Charles Bedrosian and Sarkis Bedrosian.

His funeral will be held on Wednesday at 9:45 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston, followed by a Funeral Service in Sts. Sahag & Mesrob Armenian Apostolic Church, Providence at 11 a.m. Burial will be at North Burial Ground, Providence. VISITING HOURS are Tuesday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
