He was a WW-II Veteran having served in the Army from 1944-1947. During his service he traveled to Germany, France and Belgium and received the Presidential Unit Citation along with numerous other medals and commendations. After the service he worked at Davol, Inc. for 48 years before retiring in 1994. He was a true sports fan and a loyal follower of the Boston Red Sox and Boston Celtics, but most of all enjoyed spending time with family, friends and especially his grandchildren.
Besides his wife, he is survived by his 3 children, Jayne Panarello and her companion Scott Grant of Warwick, Donald Panarello and his wife Mary, and Carol Panarello-Doyle of Coventry. Loving "Papa" of Daniel, Ashley, Ronnie, Joey, Nicholas, Christopher and Kayla. He is also survived by his sister Anna Conti and brother-in-law John Conti as well as many nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews. He was the brother of the late Viola Constantino and Teresa Murry.
His funeral will be held Friday at 10:00 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston, followed by a Graveside Service with Military Honors at RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Exeter. VISITING HOURS Thursday 4-8 p.m.
