BARBARA A. (VILLANOVA) STABILE

66, of Johnston passed away on Wednesday, March 16, 2011 peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Providence a daughter of the late Joseph and Maria "Mary" (Carroccia) Villanova. Barbara was a Senior Employment & Training Interviewer employed by the State of Rhode Island Department of Labor and Training for the past 2 years. She earned her Associates Degree at the age of 60 with honors from CCRI. Nothing was more important to Barbara than her family.

She is survived by her daughters, Diann M. Sullivan and her husband Patrick and Cheryl A. Josephson and her husband Kyle and the love of her life for 26 years, Ken Watkins all of Cranston. She was the loving grandmother of Shannon, Patrick, Taylor and Robert and sister of Raymond Villanova of Lincoln, Joseph Villanova of Johnston and Richard Villanova of Coventry.

Her funeral will be held on Tuesday at 9:00 am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Rocco's Church, Atwood Avenue, Johnston at 10:00 am. Burial will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
