Barbara A. (Parascandolo) Saccoccio

80, of Johnston, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Friday, May 12, 2023 .  She was the beloved wife of the late Paul R. Saccoccio.  Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Theresa (DeCotis) Parascandolo.

Barbara worked as an administrative assistant at the State House and Department of Higher Education for over thirty years prior to her retirement.

She is survived by her loving daughters, Cheryl Franklin and her husband Peter of Johnston, Kerri Duffy and her still fiance Richard Integlia of Johnston; cherished grandchildren Joseph Jacavone, Robert Franklin, Matthew Franklin, Abigail Duffy, and great grandchildren Joseph Kyle Jacavone, Jenna Jacavone, Lucas  Franklin; sister Linda C. Geremia; nephew Billy Geremia and his wife Michelle; great niece Sharla Geremia.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. in St. Rocco’s Church, 927 Atwood Ave., Johnston.  Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.  Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Michael J.
