BARBARA ANN (MORAN) DiNEZZA, RN

79, of East View Ave., Cranston, passed away Saturday, August 13, 2011 at Cedar Crest Nursing Centre in Cranston surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of Philip Di Nezza for 43 years. Born in Pawtucket, she was the daughter of the late George and Mary (Casey) Moran.

Barbara graduated from Sacred Heart High School in Pawtucket and in 1952 from De Paul Hospital in Norfolk, Virginia as a registered nurse. She was an operating room nurse at Miriam Hospital in Providence for 20 years before retiring. Barbara was a loving and caring woman to her family and friends.

Besides her husband, she was the devoted mother of Philip L. Di Nezza and his wife Estela of Sharon, MA and Mary F. Letizia and her husband Matthew of Cranston; loving grandmother of two; and dear sister of the late John Moran.

Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Wednesday at 9 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Ann's Church, 1493 Cranston St., Cranston at 10 a.m. Interment will be at St. Ann Cemetery in Cranston. VISITING HOURS Tuesday 5-8 p.m.
