BARBARA A. (TESSIER) RICHARDS

Richards, Barbara A. (Tessier), 76, of Downing Drive, Johnston died on Friday March 28, 2008 at Brigham and Women's Hospital, Boston, MA. She was the wife of the late George Richards. Born in Johnston she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Rose (Nadeau) Tessier. Mrs. Richards was the loving and caring mother of six daughters: Virginia Lund of FL, Barbara Assanti of FL, Christine Conti of Foster, Deborah Celani of Johnston, Diane Schultheiss of Coventry and Linda Morancey of FL. three sons: James Richards of North Providence, George Richards Jr. of Providence and Arthur Richards of Cranston. One brother: Joseph Tessier of Providence, 21 Grandchildren and 14 Great Grandchildren. She was also the sister of the late Wilford Tessier. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Eugene's Church, 1251 Putnam Pike, (Rt.44), Glocester on Monday at 10:00am. VISITING HOURS will be held on Sunday 2-8 pm at the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston. Burial will be in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, New England Affiliate 20 Speen Street Framingham, MA 01701-4688.
