BARBARA P. (OLIVER) MC PHERSON

88, of Haven St., Narragansett, passed away Friday, April 27, 2012 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late Robert B. Mc Pherson. Born in Georgetown, Maine, she was the daughter of the late George B. and Edna M. (Mathews) Oliver. Barbara was a dining room attendant at Our Lady of Peace Retreat Center and later at De La Salle Christian Brothers, both in Narragansett before retiring. She was the devoted mother of Pauline F. Amaral and her husband Philip of Middletown, Patricia A. Teferian and her husband Michael of Narragansett, Barbara J. Klassner and her husband Michael of Newport and the late David L. Robichaud; loving grandmother of Aaron, Christopher, Sean, Nicholas and the late Brett; and dear sister of the late Catherine "Teta" Briggs. She also is survived by several great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday at 10 a.m. in St. Veronica Chapel, 1035 Boston Neck Rd., (Rt. 1A) Narragansett.
