Barbara was co-owner, Vice-President and Secretary for 40 years of the former Quonset Cities Service, Inc. in North Kingstown. Above all, she was a wonderful homemaker and gracious woman with a golden heart and a passion for her family and many friends. Prior to her illness, Barbara had been a communicant of St. Bartholomew's Church and was active in many church functions.
Besides her husband who so lovingly and tirelessly devoted all his efforts to being her primary caregiver, she is survived by her adoring daughters, Karen L. Menna with whom she lived and Jamie G. DiMaio and her husband Leo of Cranston. She was the proud and cherished grandmother of Stephanie Grace, Angelica Marie and Leo Angelo. She was the sister of the late Grace DelSesto, and Anna Marie, Arthur, and William Greco. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Saturday at 10:00 a.m., followed by a Concelebrated Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary's Church, 1525 Cranston Street, Cranston at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS on Friday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
