BARBARA R. (ROTONDO) JOHNSTON

68, of Cranston, passed away on Saturday, June 26, 2010, at home surrounded by her family. She was the beloved wife of the late William D. Johnston, Sr. Born in Providence; she was the daughter of the late Luigi and Florence (DiMascio) Rotondo. Barbara was known for her baking skills and cake decorating. She is survived by her loving children, Cynthia A. Kelly and her husband Richard of North Kingstown, William D. Johnston, Jr. and his wife Jacquelyn and Paula A. Merhi and her husband Walid, all of Cranston. Barbara was the cherished grandmother of Victoria and Hannah Johnston, Aisha and Aidan Merhi, and the late Walid Merhi. She was the sister of Richard E. Rotondo of Cranston and the late Robert, Raymond, and Armond Rotondo. Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Wednesday a 9:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in St. Mary's Church, 1525 Cranston Street, Cranston . Burial will be in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston.
