90, of Cranston, passed away on December 14, 2020 at Elmhurst Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Providence. Born in Providence, Barbara was a daughter of the late Arthur Felix Lessard and Mildred Anna (Wood) Lessard. Barbara is the mother of Willard Luther DiFrenna of Cranston. She was the sister of the late Alden Arthur Lessard. She was the ex-wife of the late Joseph DiFrenna. She had a stepfather Joseph Francis Ware, who came from England and lived in Oaklawn in a house he built until his death in 1974. She lived in Providence from 1950 to 1961, working at Cornell and Dubilier. Barbara moved to Cranston in 1961 into a house her mother bought for her. She lived in the house for 54 years with her mother and son. Her hobbies were riding her bicycles, swimming, and skating. Barbara loved painting, yardwork, and working, etc. She always wanted to swim the English Channel. Barbara kept a diary for 70 years, from 1950 until her death. She had three cats, Tinkerbelle, Tinkerbelle 2, and Snowwhite. Barbara was always friendly and had a sense of Humor, and was very smart.
Her funeral services are respectfully private.
