Barbara L. (Grasso) Carnevale

BARBARA L. (GRASSO) CARNEVALE, 84, of Cranston, passed away on Wednesday, July 26, 2023 at Cedar Crest Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Cranston surrounded by her loving family.  She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph Carnevale, Sr.  Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Rocco and Antonette (Pietropaolo) Grasso.

Barbara was a unit secretary at RI Hospital for 25 years before retiring.

She was the devoted mother of Denise Zambarano of Cranston, and her twin children Joseph Carnevale, Jr.  (Heather) of North Providence and Lisa Kenney (Terrence) of West Warwick; cherished grandmother of five and loving great grandmother of eight.

Barbara enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and enjoyed being surrounded by her family.

Her funeral will be held on Thursday, August 3rd at 10 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary’s Church, 1525 Cranston St., Cranston at 11 a.m. Inurnment will be at St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS are Thursday Morning from 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m.
