Barbara Butmarc

Barbara (DiMartino) Butmarc, 89 of Cranston passed away on Sunday May 19, 2024, with her family by her side. Born in Providence she was the daughter of the late Joaquin and Bertha (Symanksi) DiMartino. She was the beloved wife of the late Jospeh A. Butmarc.

Prior to her retirement she was an assembler for many years in the jewelry industry. She retired to become the caregiver to her beloved grandson. She enjoyed traveling with her family and friends. Her grandson was the light of her life, and the apple of her eye.

She is survived by her beloved daughter Valerie Myrick, and her treasured grandson Sean Myrick. She was the devoted sister of Christine Brown, and the cherished aunt of Roseann Brown, Robin Brown and a great nieces and nephews, and great great nieces and nephews. She was the dear friend of over 50 years to Debbie Baldassarre and her husband John. She was like a grandmother to Debbie’s children Alexandria and Frank Pettinato, Jr. She was also the dear friend of over 50 years, Linda Pompeii, and like a grandmother to her daughter Gabrielle Paola and her husband Mike, and like a great grandmother to their daughter Francesca. She was predeceased by her brother Joseph DiMartino, and a nephew Harry James Brown.
