BARBARA A. BOYER

Barbara A. (Parenti) Boyer, R.N. 67, of Narragansett, passed away Wednesday October 3, 2007 at home after a long battle with lung cancer. She was born in Providence, a daughter of the late Salvatore and Clementine (Gazerro) Parenti. Ms. Boyer was a Registered Nurse for many years, working at Woman and Infants Hospital in Providence before retiring in 2000. She attended St. Patrick's School and CCRI. She was an active member of the Ministry at St. Mary's Star of the Sea Church and The Red Hat Society. She is survived by her loving daughters, Pamela Tessier and her husband Charlie of Charlestown , Stefanie Boyer and her husband David Records of Exeter, her devoted sister, Eugenia "Jean" Caracuzzo and her husband Joseph of East Greenwich. She was the cherished grandmother of Emilie, Ian and Jeffrey Records. She was the loving aunt of Jennifer Hardin, Marisa Gallagher. She was the mother of the late Michele and Christopher Boyer. Her funeral will be held on Saturday at 8:30 am from the Nardolillo Funeral Home SOUTH COUNTY CHAPEL 1111 Boston Neck Rd. (Rte. 1A) Narragansett followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 am in St. Mary's Star of the Sea Church Pt. Judith Rd. Narragansett. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery, West Greenwich.
